Theme
Contemporary cities are simultaneously rift with development opportunities and growth visions as well as enormous societal challenges reaching from demographics changes, over the environmental degradation to social inequalities. The Center for Strategic Urban Research (CSB) has existed for more than a decade and wishes to throw informed light on the issues connected to the future of urban planning and design. This we do by inviting two of the most distinguished urban thinkers of our age, Steve Graham and Grahame Shane, to create intellectually stimulating spaces of reflection.

The 2015 Guest Professor Symposia on ‘Cities, Architectures, and Mobilities’
CSB proudly announces the 2015 Guest Professor Symposia on ‘Cities, Architectures, and Mobilities’. At these events the planning and policy making of the contemporary city will be critically analyzed and discussed in the light of contemporary challenges in the fields of architecture, design, and mobilities. Both symposia will be framed in close connection to CSB research by the two organizers, Professor Tom Nielsen and Professor Ole B. Jensen. In this way we aim to have the two guest professors to connect and relate to CSB research in the most direct way.
